Yes of course, with my actual remote (conceptronic) but conceptronic eventghost remote driver is buggy giving me a lot of errors, like repeated presses (even if unpresed key) and planing to move to a new remote, if eventtrigger sends volume changes events to EVg, I'll for sure been able to use my external amp with EV and MP. here is also a small difference betw control the volume and the Mute functions from a key press and an event call. Ex. lets say I press Mute. in my remote. Eventgohst will send mute to my amp and Mediaportal. If my computer goes too Standby in between... PC to Stand by and AMP to OF. wen recovery, my Amp will be unmute and PC mute... (I've work arounds to fight that things), Or... a volume change in KB (not remote) will un mute PC but not AMP, but if MP-Eventrigger sends those commands I can have all of them in sync.
