Hi there!

I experience a problem when I browse my music collection. Apparently the issue is more likely to occur when a lot of Thumbnails are to be displayed. Therefore, I'm using a custom view which shows all Artists in the Database at once together with the 'Icons' layout.
So I start going through the collection, i.e. I scroll downwards. This works a few times, but then only a quarter of the next new line is shown, the scrolling animation freezes and after some seconds the GUI returns to the home screen, leaving MP in a quite unstable state.

Some alarming messages can be found in the logs at the time this error occurs:

re: Exception while browsing Music, -> back to home screen

Sorry, I do not use My Music that regularly on my Desktop PC, so I cannot tell when this bug was introduced. But I tried two things:

Browsing the Music collection on the HTPC is working flawlessly, although there are more songs stored on that machine. But the HTPC uses an ATI HD3450 in contrast to the nVidia card on the desktop PC.

I downgraded to version 195.62 for the nVidia card, but the issue remains.
Is there something more I could try?

re: Exception while browsing Music, -> back to home screen

    Hi,
I tested with reverting back to drivers i used before this updating from win update & those where from March 2009 (yeah i don't update that much! & not 9600gt drivers!)
So clearly a drivers bug as i see it now, but going to check abit more.

    Regards
    Roy
