I hope this is adequate system info!

The problem has aríssen since I installed the new version of MP (0.2.2.0)

My problem is that if I turn on 'exclusive direct-x', then I can't get a fullscreen picture (It's just black)! But I get the sound! - This is in TV as wel as in movies!

But If I am in eg the 'TV-Menu' the small 'preview-picture' is fine!
The strange thing is that it works with the tv when I choose 'original' - (but as this is only a small part of the screen, you can't really call it fullscreen!

There is no problem when I turn of 'exclusive direct-x', but then the tearing is awful!

    - I Don't know if it is any help, but I have ziped and attached all my log-files!

ahh - it's good to be not alone. I am having EXACTLY the same effect.

Interesting details in my situation: I am having a disk partition where I am running my "productive" MP. There I am not having the black screen (MP 0.2.0). Fighting with several problems for a while now I decided to do a brand new installation on an extra partition with the newest MP, newest drivers and so on.

Here I am ... black screen when going full screen with direct x on. Same circumstances as described from MadDuke ...

    anbody any clue?

    thanks+regards

Having the same issue, not sure what to do to fix it. Most of the time I'm fine other times I get the black screen

    Problem solved!!!!

    (For me anyway!)

I realised that the problem (in my case anyway) was caused by the DPI setting (in advanced settings for display!)

I had set it to 120 DPI (instead of the normal 96 DPI)

But I had to make a new install anyway (I had done that several times before changing the DPI, so that was not the 'cause')

    I hope this helps!
