I am thinking of setting up a PC with DVB-S2 card for Canal Digital on Win 7.
- Two tuners or twin card to be able to record while watching.
- CI for Canal Digital - and some hints on how this should be used with two/twin card.
- I am looking for a PCI or PCIe card, but USB/Firewire could be an alternative if the PCI-options fail.
Any hints on cards that will work - or won't work? (I am not ready to be the first in the world to make it work.)
Does MP decrypt the content while recording? If so, do I need two CIs? (to be able to record while viewing something else)
Background:
My Topfield PVR seems to be failing more often every month. And I tried CD's own PVR for satellite - just not good enough (poor picture quality, noisy and slow) - so everyone in the family agreed to send it back after one day of use.
