Just what to share my experience with the card, since I couldn't find the problem described.
Problem occured on the following setups: MP v1.1.3, v1.2beta and v1.2RC. Still working on v1.2Final. Same experience on Windows 7 and Windows Homeserver 2011. Testet serveral drivers available 09.2011. Cabel provider i Canal Digital Norway, with Strong CAM from Canal Digital, paired with the original card. Powersavings disabled both for HDD, PCI and USB.
For weeks I had problems with the tuner working fine for hours (a few to 30 hours), but suddenly it claims channels to be scrabled. Restarting the TV-server didn't help, and I had to cut the power to the tuner - making it work for a few more hours, as the same error occured again. Searched several forums with no hits on this behavour.
My solution was to extend timeoutparameters at the Scan-options in TV-server configuration:
TV-Server | General | Scan |
At first I extended all values with 2 sec, but is now testing with only the "Tune" setting increased to 3 sec. It is still stable.
