Well, if rewinding on a timeshift file stops the corruption then it is likely not the TV Server side because rewind has no effect on the tuner or TsWriter. I've not seen that kind of corruption pattern before either, but it kind of reminds me of what happens when editing h.264 recordings with VideoRedo and some of the reference frames/blocks are lost. However, I wouldn't have thought that the effect could persist for so long. I wonder if the codec itself is getting in a tizzy?msj33: Have you tried different codecs to see if there is any difference in behaviour? Excellent question. mm
