External tuner problem (1 Viewer)

I am using the Hauppauge PVR-250. I capture output from my DirecTV receiver via the coaxial cable. I have the external tuner working (I can change channels on my receiver) but I can't get MP to tune to channel 3 on my Hauppauge card to capture the video. I think I'm just an idiot and overlooking something. I've tried using CVBS#1, CVBS#2, SVHS, and RGB with no luck. Does anyone have any idea on what I'm doing wrong?

I am also facing the exact same problem (except that my tuner card is PVR 350 and the settop box is the Motorola one provided by Comcast). I am now going to try linking the set top box and the TV tuner card via S-Video cable.

But the problem of getting the TV tuner to tune on channel 3 to get signals via coaxial cable from external tuner still remains. Any help is greatly appiciated.

What TVEngine? The one in MP or the Beta of the new engine TVE3?

joboehl, I am having the default one in MP. I do not have TV server engine setup yet.
