Hello, I am buying myself an extra floppydtv-c to get the possibility to record and watch multiple channels in a good way. Today I have one dtv-c and one analog card and it is not optimal.
What I was wondering is which CAM should I buy for Conax on Canal Digital. I have a Conax CAM 4.01 on my existing floppydtv and it works fine for decoding but not multiple channels on one frequency. I read the Alphacrypt can do this and it supports Conax, though not many stores sell this CAM.
There is also T-rex and / or Dragon CAM, is this the same? Said somewhere it emulates Conax, will this be slow then? Can it decrypt multiple PIDs?
I also found TechniSat TechniCAM Conax (version 4.00e). No more information is found, but this one is very cheap.
Some quick guide in the jungle of CAMs would be greatly appreciated. Especially if I need to order abroad, then it is harder to just return the CAM. In this case I think I will opt for a standard Conax CAM ounce again.
