Synopsis::

Whenever i run the configuration program, and scan for new movies, or view the cover art of my movies i get this error

Failed to locate assembly 'Core.XmlSerializers, Version=1.0.2176.40647, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Note that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in the MediaPortal folder, the execution will now end.

Me too - I have an exact problem. Not sure what caused the problem - I am obviously watching this topic for a solution to correct this problem.

Please advice on how to fix this problem.

Same issue here.
3 seperate machines with similar specs. as the one in original post minus the TV cards but with dx9 compilant video cards.

Any changes to database via the config utility cause the problem described.
