All,

Please someone help me i have become desperate.

I have been using MP for over 6 months now - Using ICE TV guide and Digital TV in Australia.

When i clicked on the TV guide the other day it Said No chanel for all Channels and then No data avaliable.

I checked my arial and all was ok.

I decided to retune the channels.

I did this through Config and Set up wizard and both found all chanels. In config all Signal strenght + Quality have all been above 90%.

I have re-installed drivers/MP and everything.

I can understand if i had never used MP before, the strange thing is that all of a sudden it stopped working.

All channels are being found however the tv guide shows no channels, meaning i cant watch any.

Please help URGENTLY

This is usually caused by a incorrect shutdown and the databases get screwed up.

    First back up MP folder

Second uninstall MP, delete old MP folder after reboot and then reinstall MP.

restore the thumbs\plugins\skins folders, configure MP, try retuning and check EPG works fine with TV.

Backup again, so its nice and quick to restore again if neccessary, and then try restoring your db files from the database folder, hopefully at the end of the setup, it may only be your mediaportal.xml file that is corrupted, or possibly the tvdb.

Thank you very much for the quick reply.

Is it needed to backup the MP folder. Or can i delete everything and start fresh.

I uninstalled and re-installed MP with no luck, but obviously the folder needs to be deleted?
