Fan Art and Movie Info Question (1 Viewer)

I have update my video database, which in turn downloaded fan art, movie ratings, actor info, etc etc. How do I make it display that info when I am using the GUI?

Do I need another plugin?

I have seen several posts about a MyFilms plugin, but I am not 100% sure if that is why I need.

BTW I am using media portal 1.2.2.0 with the Avalon Skin...

There's the internal (to Media Portal) "VIDEO" section. In addition to that I have installed "Moving Pictures" plug-in, and then the "FanArt" and "Latest Media" plug-ins.

The database that the internal Video keeps seems to be different than that of the Moving Pictures database.

On my machines, I rarely update the (internal) Video section and rely solely on Moving Pictures. If Moving Pictures has triggered the fan-art to be downloaded for a movie, it will show up in the Video section too.

There are likely settings you need to configure in MePo Config > Video -> * as well as in FanArt Handler.

In regards to MyFilms (or Moving Pictures) , have a look at both plug-ins and see which is better for you. Although the current Video layout in MePo is "nice" both MyFilms and Moving Pictures do it much better (in my opinion).

In some cases the 'skin' you are using will affect what fan-art you see.

Excellent, I compared both MyFilms and Moving Pictures, and I think I am going to try Moving Pictures first. Thanks for the info!
