Hello there,
I have been searching high and low for a HTMP that does everything I want it to do, particularly for music.
I really like XBMC and absolutely love XBMC's remote for Android with cover art etc, but I have one big problem with it:
I would like it to be able to do a Google Image search of the band that is playing, and do a slide show of the results... one of the senior developers have told me they are "not interested" in developing features that give you things to look at while the music is playing.
Can mediaportal go a google image search, or does it use the same (IMO highly limited htbackdrops.com) to grab images?
Is there anything else out there? I know and own JRIVER Media Center, which does a good job of the google image display, but there are other major issues I have with JRiver, particularly a very poorly thought out navigation in theatre mode.
