In the meanwhile I have started MP from scratch. I did:
  1. Make full MP backup with backupsetting 1.2.2.13
  2. Restore to a fresh Windows 10
  3. Install MP 1.16.0 Pre Release
  4. Install FH 4.0.2.245
  5. Restore movie database only
  6. Scrap fanart with FH
Result:
  • I can see fanarts in movies and collections
  • At movies: MovieID = -1
  • At collections: MovieID = Numbers
  • I added some missing fanarts manually. These are not shown.
I did what you asked me for. Replaced FanartHandler.dll from post. Same result. Log attached.

Yes.

No. Sorry, I have corrected my previous post.

I have many music life concerts FH does not find fanarts for so I add them manually. It is strange. Some fanarts for these are shown but most of them are not and I can't find any strategy to manually added them in a way so that they are shown in MP.

I can see them here but not in MP

Search for the fan art goes by IMDBID. If there is an IMDBID, and a fanart for this IMDBID is, then it will be loaded.

I'll make a version with debugging information and let you know.

This afternoon I spend some hours to look futher into my issue and found the reason. My FH settings were responsibly not showing some fanart I added manually. I have restricted FH not showing fanarts smaller than 1920 x 1080. As soon as set to 400 x 400 all fanarts are shown. I'll get crazy. :(

So in summary I had two issues.
    1. It seems that the temporary installation of movingpictures and myFilms made troubles. Solved by restoring a backup.
    2. FH was instructed not showing fanarts smaller than 1920 x 1080. Solved by to 400 x 400.
All seems ok now and I can go ahead. Thank you very much for your effort and patience. Great support. (y)

    Regards,

    Klaus F
