Fanarthandler prevents standby? (1 Viewer)

Hello!

I am using the latest version of Fanarthandler and with it enabled my system will not enter standby.
When I disable it it goes into standby as expected.

In the log I can see that every fifteen minutes it starts scraping and almost immediately stops scraping.
I have entered that it shall only scrape every 72 hours but still it does this all the time.

Previous versions of Fanarthandler did not have this problem.

Hi,

Your logs are normal. What you see is the refresh of latest added media info and it happens every 15 minutes for some media (like Pictures). I will add an option so that this intervall can be configured (if you need longer intervall to allow your PC to standby).

But the strange is that my computer should enter standby after 8 minutes of inactivity so it should work with 15 minutes interval but it does not. At the moment I have disabled the Fanarthandler plugin and my system enters standby as expected.

Hi,

Without logs (fanarthandler.log, error.log, mediaportal.log) for the timeframe you describes I cannot solve the issue.

Hello!

I have set the log level to debug and watched the content of those three log files.
There is absolutly nothing of interest in them between the lines I posted before.
The error.log is empty.
The fanarthandler.log looks like this:

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
I did not have these problems with previous versions of the Fanarthandler.

I have now upgraded from Backdrop skin 0.7 and the fanarthandler included in that release to Backdrop skin 1.0 with included fanarthandler.
All of a sudden my system have started to enter standby again. If it is due to changes in the skin or in the fanarthandler I do not know, but I am writing this as feedback to cul8er.
