Feature Request - Add Settings option to Exit/Shutdown/Restart menu (1 Viewer)

Hi

I think it would be useful to add settings menu to exit/shutdown/restart menu. This is the menu that is accessed by pressing the right arrow key when on the basic home screen. The reason for this is I don't want settings in my basic home menu as I hardly however use settings.

I would like to be able to access settings in order to update streamedmp skin from time to time. Since I use basic home and my htpc doesn't have a keyboard or settings in the basic home menu there is no way for me to do this.

Alternatively ability to choose what resides on this screen in the basic home editor might be nice atlernative.

nice idea.

fyi, you can also access settings via many plugin windows e.g. The Hidden Menu. It doesnt take you directly to the root menu but you can easily navigate to it.

Also you can tuck away the Settings menu in a Sub-Menu.

yup thanks for that, i don't use plugins menu, but will probably add settings to a submenu somewhere, unless of course feature request is implemented at some stage in the future. I havn't added sub menus yet, but will do so when next time I update my MP installation.

Cheers, looking good. I also thought that the symbol for exit is a little strange, shouldn't it be an [x] symbol? I don't think it really matters though, it's just something i noticed yesterday when i thought about the settings option.

Easy to do now I have button templates....


And think it looks better, well correct at least.
