Hi Guys,
Bit of a newbie to MediaPortal, but I do think I might have something to share in terms of a feature suggestion:
Setup:
1) You have a system with N Tuners
2) You have M channels you mostly watch (M<=N)
You want to watch an episode that started about 10 minutes ago on one of these M channels and you hadn't set it up to record. Wouldn't it be great if MP automatically recorded the current episode from each of these "preferred" channels, so that even though the show started 10 minutes ago, you get to watch it from the beginning? Once the next show starts on any of these preferred channels, the previous recording on that same channel is erased, unless it had been marked for record by the user.
What do you think? In fact, given how well thought out everything about MediaPortal is (including the crash reporter), I wouldn't be surprised if there was already some setting somewhere that does this
Thanks for a great piece of software, from one very happy user
