Not sure if it has been sugested before or not but it would be cool if you could set reminders in the guide for your favourite shows.

So instead of having to record everything ( or as well as ) you could just get a message popup on the bottom of the screen advising that a particular show is on another channel and give you the Y/N option to switch over to it.

I had this when I had AT&T digital cable in the US and it rocked.
