This maybe a request for the MP developers but I'll request here as well. Can you add an option to use an external player for this plugin? Of course an external player can be enabled in MP, but this is for all video plugins. However I'm finding out a player like MPC-HC can be optimized for one type of file, say MKV using madvr, but does not work well for VOB files. This could be resolved if Movingpictures could override the defaulted/external MP player. In effect having option to use a separate player for Movingpictures and another player for Video. This would really add greater flexibility to this plugin.

This could be implemented in Moving Pictures but it would be best to implement it at the MediaPortal level so all components can take advantage.
