I installed ffdshow after I installed mediaportal. When I started the configurator, I did not see ffdshow listed as a video option under Video or DVD. Is there something I can do without having to re-install Mediaportal?

Have you actually configured FFDShow to process MPEG2 and H264 video?

Doesn't the default installation configure MPEG2?

I originally installed ffdshow during installation and mediaportal recognized it with no issues. I then removed ffdshow and installed SAF but it conflicted with another app so I removed it and went back to ffdhsow by itself. It's at this point that the Mediaportal Configurator doesn't see ffdshow as an option.

Does Mediaportal do some sort of configuration to ffdshow during it's installation? If so, how do I get it to do it again without having to do a reinstall of Mediaportal?
