Hi,
I used ffdshowe to resize my tv picture to 1920x1080 to get a better sharp picture.
As main codec i uses powerdvd 9 as mpeg decoder and in porstprocessing settings raw ffdshow filter.
I the last version 1.01 everything worked finde this way now in 1.1.0 rc1 i can start tv but the first picture doesn't change. I can hear audio in background.

Can anyone confirm, this problem ? Any Solution ?
That would be so sad because i love the new version but also the sharp and crytal clear picture with postprocessing.

I see you're using EVR Render, as i use VMR that could be the difference.
I think that developers have optimized tvserver for win7.

Blacklisting has been there for many years already, also it is done only when ffdshow is acting as MPEG2 decoder (not when it is decoding H.264 nor when it is used as post processing filter.

Thank you Tourette, then i have to search further for the problem why ffdshow as postprocessor isn't working anymore with new version.

What is the reason for the ban tourettes? Would audio/video sync issues be one of them? I have managed to set ffdshow for my MPEG2 decoder for TV by compiling my own version simply because the upscaling is of good quality but when watching TV sometimes I get audio sync issues, a pause/seek (once or twice after channel change) will usually correct it self most of the time.

Zapping between MPEG2 and H.264 content caused lot of issues with ffdshow in the past. Unfortunately we haven't had enough time to try to fix it (or even go thru a compherensive testing to see if that issue would have been cured already...).

Iäm not aware of sync issues, but those are possible.

CCob I qould suggest ti use powerdvd9 mpeg decoder, this works fine and in combination with postprocessing ffdshow you get in my opinion the best and sharpest picture.

This is what I have done in the past, but I need DXVA for H.264 as my machine is not powerful enough with software decoding. As soon as I use ffpmeg RAW video codec for post processing I can no longer use DXVA. This is why I am trying to get it to work this way.
