It would be cool to have the Filmstrip view option whilst in the 'Playlist' mode too.
And another cool idea I thought I would run past...
Howz about having a visualization happen which provides the song / album information whilst in this filmstrip view.
i.e. Main tumbnail to Album info and vice versa.
