I have a club 3d zap tv 2202 hybrid TV card

Same here

I have been using Mediaportal since 0.23RC days and it worked with this card.
I have been on Mediaportal 1.0 stable since it came out, and it has been mostly ok.
I had to separate out the OS, timeshifting and recording to 3 separate HDDs to
reduce stuttering to a reasonable level, even tho I have quad core 4Gb box with
a decent mobo.

I held off upgrading until 1.1 RC4, but scanning now gets "no signal" against each frequency.
the no signal error is on on dvb-t. I tried analog but got another error about
"Please install a supported audio/video encoder for your software analog card"
its the first time I have seen that error.

I reverted to MP1.0 and things are back working again.

(will upload logs if I reinstall MP1.1)

Update: I upgraded to Windows 7 this weekend.

I used the vista drivers and MP 1.1 RC4 and it picked up both TV and Radio stations.
I think I am a few TV channels short, but haven't had time to investigate.

Too busy reinstalling all my usual apps and getting to grips with Win7 UAC.

Although Win7 + RC4 worked for the initial install, once I rescanned I got the no signal error and lost
all my channels. I have not been able to get them back so far.
Win7 Microsoft Media Center seems to be working fine - I can get the tv channels ok on it.

Use the Mediaportal debug mode from the START menu, use option 3 and attach logs to post using the forum go advanced + feature.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I'm in work now. I was up late fiddling with MP. I will try and post the logs tonight.
Good news, I eventually got the channels to scan, however it was after a consider bit of trial and error
    and moving to RC6.

Once the signal failed to scan, I tried restarting the TV Service, which did not seem to help.
I then noticed that WindowMediaCenter no longer was picking up the channels either.

    So I uninstalled MP RC4
I still had no channels in WMC, so rebooted and went through the manual setup
and scan in WMC and got the channels working in there again.

Installed MP RC6 and this time the scan worked. Although RC4 also
scanned ok on its first install.
It was late so I left well enough alone and went to bed.

I think there may be some issue with TV card drivers that makes the
card unavailable while the TV service is running. I had tried a few reboots
but only made progress once the TV service was uninstalled.

I will tempt fate and rescan tonight in debug mode if I get time.
