FireDTV remote isn't working anymore (1 Viewer)

Since new BDA drivers came, remote isn't working in MP anymore. I copied firesatapi.dll to MP's root, but it doesn't find remote in configuration. I have tested older drivers and with those it works fine.

Can anyone confirm this? I contacted digital-everywhere, but they told that nothing has changed in remote control in latest driver updates and it might be MP problem..

Indeed, I had the same problem with my floppydtv-card, I used the drivers on the cd that came with it and it worked. So something is different with the new drivers.

I have the same problem with my FloppyDTV DVB-C since I upgraded the drivers yesterday. My remote is nolonger working and I can not select it in configuration.exe. I also seem to have some problems with Channels oo qam256 (stottering). But I did not a bigger testing.

Problem here is that I did upgrade Firmware and BDA-Driver at the same time.
Shouldn't have done this.

i've bought my dtv 2 weeks ago and the drivers on the cd are the ones that you can find on the net.

Dont forget to close the Digital Everywhere Remote Control application. You can find it in the lower right hand corner. The icon is RC in red letters. If you only use the remote for Media Portal, its probably the best to also remove it from the auto-start menu.

in my case the Rc-program is not running.
i also copied the Firesatapi.dll to the mediaportal folder
but i cant select anything in the receiver tab in the mp config

I've tried also pretty much everything I have on mind, but didn't get it to work. Has someone tried those new 4.5N drivers? I haven't yet, but I'll try those at this weekend.

Tried the 4.5N drivers today, but it's still not working.
I guess the firesatapi.dll has been updated bei Digital Everywhere and is since not compatible to the implementation in MP.
It would be nice if someone with a working remote in MP could upload its dll or give the exact filesize to compare it to the "new" version. Since its workin for some people its not a (programming) "failure" in MP. Digital Everywhere must have changed the driver or the remote part and now it seems to be our task to find out whats wrong.
