Hi all

I have downloaded the latest version today.
I installed it, and did the config options as described in the web page.
on first start up, it seems to hang on the "starting Plugins" section.

I have attached the zip from the debug, which has all details in it

I have searched for similar issiues..

I found three things that people have sugested would work

I did a full windows update.
I installed the latest directX from the MS web site
I altered the language to english US - and altered the skin back to the standard.

Non made any dif at all..

the error log shows me killing the app after 10 mins, but I have left it for over an hour, and not got past this screen.

Any advice will be greatfully recived.

I do want to get this working..

I tried looking at the logs, watchdog generates.. There were a lot of database errors.. I can't find anywhere to enter a password, but did test the password and made a conection via the tv server config tool.

I also disabled all the plugins, it allowed me to disable anyway, and took it off full screen..

I now seem to get past the starting plugins page, but it is only drawing the outlind of the application window, and NOT displaying any detail within the application..

So I am not sure of i am any further on? and do any of the new sympoms ring any bells with anyone?

Please always attach your hardware specs. :)

From logs, it seems like you run a very old system:

    Processor: Intel Pentium III, ~1.0GHz
    Memory: 254MB RAM
Page File: 268MB used, 357MB available
    ---------------
Card name: Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation)

I think you missed the requirements for running MP.
First of: You need a DX9 video card... rest... see wiki.

    Thanks

I thought the logs would show the spec, and, i'd only get it wrong and misslead if i tried to figure them out...

you mention the spec of the graphics card.. I assume that means mine isn't at that level?

I am a total inept at hardware stuff...

I will check out the wiki next, thanks for the point in the right direction..
