I had my first run at MediaPortal about a year ago and was not happy about it at all.. Channels where choppy.. menu was sluggish.. it was overall horrible.
But now a year later.. abit more knowledge.. same hardware.. im just simply amazed. Runs fast and smooth and does everything you need it to do for a HTPC.
the only thing i need to point out is the abit slow TV channel change.. it takes 2-5 sec's witch can be abit annoying.. any tweaks to get it abit faster?

jsut started the CI tool in the background and now it takes 1-2 seconds
