have upgraded my trusty xp mediaportal box to 7 as i was having small niggling problems with it and it was an excuse to upgrade to the newer versions of mediaportal/streamedmp.
i'm having a problem with user set background images, if i set it to use the folder that has all the images downloaded to it, both plugins show random images on the homescreen, however if i wanted to be a bit more selective and define what i want i was in the past able to put images into a folder which would then be displayed.
currently that folder seems to be: "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Skin Fanart" however in there which i did not notice on my xp build (before i wiped it in favour of win7) was that where was a "UserDef" folder and in there we there have games, movie, tv folders.
i see the "loading.." then that disappears then black background is all i get.
edit: sorted it i think, needed the fanart handler to be redownloaded via the installer. files in the same userdef folder started to work.
