flickr plugin (1 Viewer)

Dont know if anybody has tried this or if there is one but i thought it would be cool if there was a flickr plugin similar to how www.pageflakes.com gets todays interesting photos. Maybe it could be incorporated into the my pictures section??
I have no idea how to do this otherwise i would give it a go.

Shouldn't be to hard.. Flickr have a .net webservice API.

Had a quick look, lots of web methods supported. Don't really have time to do it myself, plus I'm crap at coding, but I'll have a play a I use Flickr to. Maybe I'll get thing started.

Well i am currently working on a flickr-plugin for MP. I think i am about half-way done.

Things done:

- Search by text
- Search by tag
- Search by member
- Login to flickr
- MySets
- MyFavorites
- MyContacts
- Show pictures found

Things to do:

- Photoinfo
- Upload (don't know when)
- SlideShow (not in first version)
- Bughunting
- Optmizing

Hoping to have a first version within 2-3 weeks :wink:

Sounds good. It would be good to be able to show random flickr photos from some tag while playing music, if this is possible? As long as music kept playing when you opened your plugin then that would be fine.

When I tried out Slickr (the Flickr screensaver), I tried to talk the author into adding browsing functionality, and make it more of a HTPC app...

So, I am pretty excited to see the possibility of a Flickr plugin for MP. It'd be best if there were basic browsing fuctions... mine/contacts/groups/favorites/user/interestingness/tag/etc.
