Hello everyone,

i have a strange error in the tvserver configuration. if i want to search the channels (using 19.2°E Astra) he says at every frequency "No Signal". I dont know what to do, searched the forums, didnt found any help. Tried several TVE3 versions, everytime the same failure. TV watching with DVB Viewer works flawless.

Anyone has an idea?

I attached a .jpg to see my tve3 window.

i tried a channel import from someones channellist, doesnt work too - for this there are the error.log and tv.log
the channel search logs are the error_search.log and tv_search.log

it seems that it has something to do with directshow or so.

Thanks for your help

Hello _mrow,

I've got exactly the same issue with my FloppyDTV-S2 on Astra 19.2°E but not on Hotbird Astra 13°E.

What is the BDA driver fix that you are talking about? Where I can found it?

Thank you in advance!

Update here:

I was testing the FireDTV Viewer. He will find all Channels (SD+HD). Viewing the SD-channels where no problem.

Then I was testing the scan with TV-Server 17500 for HD-Channels. And all HD-Channels where found and it work with MP. But still no SD Channels are found (Astra 19,2).

Then I rechecked the Requirments of TV-Server. There I found the first mistake!

The Installation Video has differents to the WEB-Help. Some adjustments of the SQL-Server are missing in the video! SQL-Browser and some settings are different!

After adjusting this - still no SD-Channels!

Then I found the BDA Fix in the Requirments - installed - still "No Signal" on SD Channels!

What else could be the Problem!?

Im getting the exact same issues but with UK Sky/freesat channels on astra 28, just detects no signal but will be fine in the TV viewer app which came with my FloppyDTV S2. I have a diseq and astra 19, hotbird 13 work fine but constant no signal on 28. Where could i find the BDA driver fix? is this a MP specific fix or will I find it by looking on digital everywhere (FloppyDTV) website? Any help would be awesome....

@GAMe, get the analog fix files from HERE and replace them in the TV Server directory, this should fix it.

Thanks. This fix solved the same issue I had with a FireDTV-T. Now I've tried to attach a second DVB-T tuner (a Lite on DVB-T USB branded by Toshiba) and I got "No signal" error just with this device, even if Savvy TV (the sw that came with the USB tuner) can perfectly tune all the channels.

Is this also a matter of BDA fix or it could just be the device that is not compatible with MP?

Thanks again.
