I am builting my first media center using media portal. this will be used only for audio as a jukebox. I am looking for an inexpensive FM tuner card that would work with media portal. I cannot find any cards that only do FM but I find plenty FM/TV turner cards. what should I do, are there any inexpensive cards where the FM portion positively works with media center.

also what should I do for an audio card? I dont think onboard audio will sound decent but most of the audio cards I find are for surround sound (which for me is a waste) and do not have a audio line out. I would like RCA L/R plugs if possible. I was thinking about getting one of these surround sound cards (5.1 or 7.1?) and using the optical out into my audio amp.

any help would be great!!!

i'm not sure in your country but most stations seem to do live streams , so instead of using the fm card perhaps an alternative is to have internet streams instead, i guess depends if you are having it connected to the net tho

that is a alternative solution, this problem ia that those streams are low quality compared to FM quality. also most of the music i listen to isn't streamed.
