Hi

I've recently added some films, and I'm having major problems as the config tol is monitoring the folder, but not seeing the files.

My monitored fodlers are:

E:\My Films\Family Films
E:\My Films\HD Films
E:\My Films\SD Films
E:\My Films\Stand Up Comedy

I've been using this structure for the last 6 months, as it allows me to force a sort order, with childrens films first. I've not had any problems at all, and new media aded to any of the folders appears.

However, as of yesterday it's having trouble. So far i've been forced to remove the Family Films and re-add it, which has resolved the problem. However, as for the HD films folder, i'm about to delete and re-add it for a 3rd time. Obviously this is a pain as it takes time, assuming it even works this time. It did start to detect the movies in the HD Films folder last time i re-added it, but it only saw about 5 out of 50 (and i did leave it for about 15 minutes).

Anyone any ideas what's going on here?

Thanks!

a bit more information will be helpful for the devs (or anyone else) to investigate.
please include more information about your setup (network drive mapped to E:\ or local files)
and of course debug logfiles (FAQ - Moving Pictures)

To be honest it found everything the last time a re-added the drive - it's a local drive by the way.

It took a long time, and hung during the process. Not sure if it's a Media Portal issue, or if the TV database is down.

Moving pictures does not use the tv database, it uses a variety of sources. Either build in (the movie database) or by several customizable scrapers.
Still, without any debug logfiles, things are hard to examine (if and when still necessary)
