Since I have a DVB-C card it is not always logical which channels are available (since there is the mix-up with the MUX's). MPtvClient shows me which channels are available and which are recording. In 4TheRecord there are no indication.</p><p></p><p>When recording I hate that I cannot change the way the recordings are named, nor can I stop it from creating a subfolder with the name of the recording and putting it there. Right now the name goes something like: "Grey's anatomy (american Drama Serie from 2007) - Kanal 4 - 03-11-2008.ts" which I think are way too long. And I cannot change it. This may be possible with some Post-processing commands, but i just have no Clue as to how to do it.</p><p>When Scheduling a recording in the Management, I can set the name of the File, but when scheduling through the MP GUI there is no way to change it (right now, perhaps this is in the making).</p><p></p><p>The greatest thing about 4The Record for me is the very flexible recording options. Just the fact that when I schedule a recording that is set to start at 20.00, if the EPG then later changes to 20.15, 4TheRecord will automatically pick this change up and recording according to the New EPG. This feature alone is the reason right now, why I am using 4TheRecord. I'm still deciding on whether the above mentioned things are worth losing in order to get the flexible recording options.</p></blockquote><p></p>
