I fixed it by using another DNS server. see <a href="http://www.opendns.com/" target="_blank">OpenDNS | Providing A Safer And Faster Internet</a>  or Just use their nameservers 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.I haven't done this for a long time, the last time was when I was with Charter Comm's in California, using Opendns's server gave me a dramatic speedup in web surfing.
