Hi
just wanted to tell you that I have solved a very penetrant problem with my Q-Sonic X10 remote. I bought it over a year ago (from Pearl) and it never worked well coz it had this famous double-click problem. Even with the hints within this forum (change key repeat etc) it never worked. So I put it in the drawer and forgot. But yesterday I took it out again and when the problem still existed, I decided to find out about the reason finally.
And now I got it: my PC has another X10 receiver built in, which I did not even know of! Only when scanning the USB controller part of the Hardware Devices list, I found it! After deactivating either the internal or the external X10 USB receiver (which came with the Q-Sonic), the double click problem was gone. Afterwards it seems really logical: both X10 thingies interpreted the command and sent it to MP. Therefore, I got the "double click" thing.
So even if it sounds dump: if you cannot get rid of this problem, check whether you have a built-in X10 receiver (Medion PCs usually have this).
