I had the common issues with poor performance with a limited user account, so upgraded the account to admin and tried re-installing MediaPortal client.
Now, every time I try to install, even though I select client only it installs the TV-Plugin and the configuration asks for my TV cards not my TV server! It worked fine before...(apart from music being unusable).
The TV Server is running on the same box (it is my main media centre but I also want it to feed TV to my laptop) - that part is still working fine, I just can't persuade the installer to do a client-only install of MediaPortal to work with it.
Thanks,
Richard.
