forum skin doesn't load properly when using IE7 beta.... there is a huge gap at the top of each page before the header image starts.

the actual MP website is fine though.. only the forum has this problem.

works fine in IE6 and Firefox though.

have tested it using IE7 RC1 on XP and on IE7 on Vista Pre-RC1... all have the gap at the top of the pages.

Yes, please. If the final release still has problems with out forums, this will be fixed, of course. Doing that for prerelease versions doesn't make much sense and could be wasted work or introduce problems with IE6 / Firefox / Opera / whatever.

ok... but the problem will still be there when the final version is released.... just though it could save you time if you fixed it now... but it's down to you !

Not to be picky, but a RC is exactly that, a Release Candidate... it is not definately the final product there are sometimes 4 or 5, and ocasionaly more release candidates of software, and until the stable version is released it's exactly that an, alpha, beta, or RC, and asking that things be fixed for a non stable release is silly.

Is this a usability issue or just an issue of aesthetics? If there is just a large gap at the top and the rest of the page is fine then I don't have much sympathy as pages coded to work around bugs in IE often show the same symptoms (large gap at the top) when viewed in Opera or FF. I am just glad to see the tables turned for once.

the site loaded perfect in IE7 before the change to vbulletin was done.
the "fault" has only appeared after the new forum and skin was implemented.

actually ... when vbulletin went live with its default skin it was also fine.... problem only happened when the MP skin was put on.
