forward and rewind does not work in TV recorded movies (1 Viewer)

HI guys,
this is my first time writing for help. I'm using MP since couples of month without any specific problem.
I noted since couples of days that all the TV recorded programs cannot be forwarded nor rewinded. I explain myself better:

I use PV scheduler to record a TV program. System works properly and my recorded movie is correctly listed in "my recorded TV". If I play the recorded program from the beginning without pushing forward or rewind button on my remote controller, I can see all the recorded movie without problem but, if I try to skip some part (for example during commercials), the screen goes freezing and the only way to back the system working is to push "back" in my remote controller. MP works properly and even all recorded TV I have done some month ago can forward and rewind with no problem.

I'm using the stable version MP 0.2.2.0.

does anyone faced this problem already ? any suggestion ?

Possibly the TV database hase been corrupted, has Mediaportal crashed\shut down abruptly, as have had something not to dissimilar happen, deleting the database solved the problem for me, luckily i had a backup from a couple of days prior to this happening, so was able to restore most of the information.

Question for Paranoid Delusion: how can I delete/manage TV database ? ...I'm pretty new in MP...sorry if the question sounds too basic...
