I use one of the following :
- It's not perfect but DVD with THX could be use to calibrate a TV. There's à calibration menu for image & sound...
- I don't know a software to do that except with the MCE Nvidia driver which come with an utility to proper calibrate the screen.

The only configuration that is certain to work is when the MP client and MP server are from the same release.
