MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2.0
MediaPortal Skin: Blue two wide
Windows Version: 5.1.2600
CPU Type: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual
HDD: Maxtor 6V300F0 300GB
Memory: 1GB DDR PC3200
Motherboard: MSI K8N NEO4-f
Video Card: Nvidia Gefore 6600
Video Card Driver: 9.1.4.7
Sound Card: Onboard
Sound Card AC3:
Sound Card Driver: na
1. TV Card: Freecom DVB-T USB Stick
1. TV Card Type: DVB-T
1. TV Card Driver: BDA 8584

I have got my freecom dvb-t usb stick running with Media portal but I would like to use the included remote.

When a button is pressed on the remote it presses a key on the computer, here is what each button of the remote does:

Power: Ctrl Alt F12
Mute: F8
Volume +: F10
Volume -: F9
Channel +: +
Channel -: -
0-9: 0-9
Zoom: Alt Enter
Jump: Ctrl t

Is there any way to map these to control the tv in media portal?

Hi!, how do you got freecom usb stick to work???
I have two "unable to create graph for this device" errors when i try to edit freecom capture card in mediaportal setup - TV - capture cards.

I'm using GB-PVR with no problems, its BDA mux checker says i have intervideo and cyberlink muxers ok, and everything works fine except mediaportal.. :(
thanks

Its been a little white since i did this but basicly i downloaded the xp bda drivers from freecom and installed media portal using the generic bda tv card option (i think). got it working okish in vista and fine in xp. I cant remember having to do anything else particulary special.

Has anyone solved the issue with the freecom dvb-t remote and media portal?

as jakeblat said the remote emulates some keys on the keyboard. its not a ture remote think of it more as a keyboard. If you want any program (media portal, winamp, word) to use the remote you will need to configure the keyboard shortcuts to match the keys the "remote" uses.
