Hi,

I have always updated my EPG using the Freesat DVB-EPG functionality in MP.
I have done this by selecting "Freesat Info" in the "DVB EPG/Radio Epg grabber" in TVServer Configuration.
This configuration loaded the Freesat EPG for the next couple of days without fault.

Until last week or so (can't say exactly when)...
Now the grabber only seems to pick up now/next data for BBC One HD and BBC HD.

Looking at the logs, it seems to find the "Freesat Info" transponder alright but somehow it doesn't have a load of data to process.

Has something changed here in the Freesat set-up? Do I need to select a different channel to get all the EPG?
Or is this service no longer working and should I move to different method of collecting Freesat EPG?

SOLVED -- Freesat DVB-EPG no longer updating

Found the problem...
For some reason the transponder data for "Freesat Info" was changed to 10847V/22000 instead of 11427H/27500.
The EPG grabber therefore tuned to the wrong transponder and was only picking up the now/next data for that transponder which hosts BBC HD and BBC One HD.

I edited the transponder details for "Freesat Info" and now it grabs the EPG for all the Freesat channels.

Hi,

Where do I get this file Freesat.info? And when I have it, how do I use it? It wasn't included in my installation of Mediaportal and now that I have activated the S2 tuner, I only get a scattering of now and next in the epg for freesat channels

"Freesat info" is a radio channel not a file. Search for this radio channel with the DVB EPG>Radio EPG Grabber list of channels and put a tick next to it.
