Hi Guys

Just like to say that Media Portal and mpclient is a wonderful piece of software.

I just completed setting up a htpc, with tvserver and that works well with compro vista T750F on vista ultimate.

On my vista ultimate desktop machine, I am running the mptv client 1.3.2 and it connects perfectly. It runs the test and says OK for all four test connections.
I can see all the current live channels and EPG for them.

However, one small problem I'm receiving is that I run the stream for about 30 seconds to 1minute and it freezes in VLC. Then when I try and restart it, it says Trying to start timeshifting. Could not start timeshifting, Reason: No VideoAudioDetected.

I then installed the mptv 1.3.2 client with exact identical settings and untouched the htpc tvserver, but this time on a XP SP3 machine. It works flawlessly, going on for 10minutes now without a problem.

On the freezing machine, my vista ultimate desktop, it works for any channel but then freezes about 30seconds-1min into viewing the channel.

I then went one step further and got both XP and vista ultimate desktop clients on at the same time, and wow it works perfectly and smooth for both clients, except the vista one freezes eventually.

All clients and server are gigabit ethernet connections.

Any help with the freezing issue is muchly appreciated!
