Fresh 1.0.2.0 installation white background in Blue3 default skin (1 Viewer)

Hi,

ive installed a fresh installation of 1.0.2.0 on windows XP SP3. The machine i installed on is a Thinkpad T23 1,13Ghz ( Category:T23 - ThinkWiki ) I have 1GB of ram installed in the machine.

My problem is, that when i start up mediaportal the background i White, and several ikons are missing. I can use the mediacenter, but it looks very strange

Any thoughts on what the problem could be ? Ive been giving it some thought, it might be the lack of ram on the video card ??? What do you think. Is there any way of downsizing the required videomemory.

I have another installation on a Thinkpad T40p wich runs perfectly in the T23's place. So no problems with cabels etc...

Your video card is far from fulfilling the requirements:

"S3 SuperSavage IX/C with 16 MB"

Minimum is DX9 w/128 MB.

well.. i have a T40p wich runs with no problems (64mb video memory). So i thought i might give it a go But there is a bit of a factor from 16 to 64, and from 16 to 128

Thx for the feedback, was having truble finding the minimum requirements on the homepage, and went for the forum instead
