To get my new card tuner card working in MP, I have been forced to rebuild my system and use TVE3. The only functionality that I was missing was the ability to use the second tuner on my Hauppauge 2200, so I wasn't too thrilled by the idea of having to make the upgrade. After installing the latest SVN of MP and TVE3, I have found a few features have disappeared. The TVE3 client doesn't sort the TV guide in the order that the TVE3 does. This makes it harder to keep track of the channels and make sense of the order. This is made worse by the lack of channel name being displayed in the "Program Information" screen. In the case of channels that run duplicate programming, I use these secondary feeds to allow for an overlap in concurrent recordings. And even when I get to see the duplicate programs, I can't use an advanced recording to schedule a weekly recording. In my previous setup, the XMLTV feed contained a set of duplicate channels (Seven 1, Seven 2, Seven 3). Even though the extra channels were hidden from the TV guide, the extra channels still appeared as alternate screening times for a given program. This meant that I could scroll down the list of "Upcoming episodes", highlight one of the secondary channels, then create and "Advanced record" entry. In TVE3 client, I can't even select one of the secondary screening times. An advanced recording will only be created for the channel that appears in the TV guide. Has anyone else noticed this change? Have I missed a setting somewhere?
