Fusion DVICO Remote (1 Viewer)

Hi - my new Dual Digital 4 card turned up today which will replace my Compro DVB-T300. I use the Compro remote with HIP and Compro2HIP to control MP. Now I have this nicer remote, I wanted to use it, but HIP doesn't have an input from DVICO. So all you fusion dvico users out there, how are you getting your remote to work? or are you using the ms remote?

just for clarity, the remote receiver is the one that plugs into the HDTV card with a 3.5mm jack

I'd like to know if there is any way to use the Dvico remote too as it has alot of useful buttons on it

Did try to get my Dvico Dual 2 remote to work, but there was no luck getting anything other than it's own software to run with it (and that was hit and miss, remote receiver jack very temperamental).

Maybe the 4 version has better accessibility, if not there is always good old MS remote as a last resort.

You can use any remote you like as long as you have the USB-UIRT receiver. Assign the buttons in mediaportal config to whatever you prefer.

I have a DVICO duel 4 & lite in the same pc using the DVICO remote.
You have to set up a new profile in the remote config ( Right click on the task bar remote icon)
Then you asign all the keyboard strokes to the buttons you want.
Works a treat
