Synopsis::

I recently got myself a new FUSION HDTV DVBT Pro TV card and I am having trouble setting it up for use with Media Portal. I have run the graphedit program and have tried to add it manualy and media Portal now recognises my card, but now crashes when I try to set up channels.

This is what I added to the XML file

<capturecard commercialname="Dvico FusionHDTV DVB-T" capturename="FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture" devid="ven_14f1&dev_8802&subsys_db3018ac&rev_05">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="tunerdevice" name="FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="capture" name="FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture" checkdevice="false"/>
</filters>
</tv>
</capturecard>

Any help would be greatly appreciated as media portal looks like great software, certainly much better than the software that Divco provides.

Thanks

The driver/software i am using is Dvico 3.42. My card shows up twice as BDA in device manager,

Fusion HDTV 88x, BDA Receiver(DVB-T)
Fusion HDTV 88x, BDA Tuner(DVB-T PRO)

Cheers

    Did you overwrite the existing

    <capturecard commercialname="Dvico FusionHDTV DVB-T" capturename="FusionHDTV

    Might have been worth adding in it's own right "FusionHDTV DVB-T Pro"

    Only a thought, if graphedit has given you the right information, should work.

    Tunerdevice should read TRUE.

    Try sending the graphedit details to Dman-LFC and see if he can help.

    Regards

    FusionHDTV DVB-T Pro was not overwritten but the pro was not added. Tried changing the tunerdevice to true as well but still no luck.

    I have sent the graphedit details to Dman so fingers crossed

    Thanks for the help
