Hey there, first of all I want to say Media Portal looks awesome however, I can't get my Dvico FusionHDTV 5 working. It see my FusionHDTV but when I try to scan ATSC channels I get nothing. I tried it on the Media Portal setup software also and it auto scans channels and it takes about 10 minutes but in the end I get no channels.

What can I do to get channels to come in? I'm trying to get cable HD/Digital channels, not over the air just so you know.

Please any help would be great. I really like Media Portal.

You probably should have used the support template, some people won't answer threads without it. Which OS are you using? My fusion III would not work when using win2000 (could not create graph error), but when i switched to winXP a couple weeks back, it worked right out of the box.

Working might not be the right word. I have the gold version of the fusion III with two inputs, so my cable and antenna are hooked up at the same time. It finds all my OTA channels, and that part works great. Seems that there is no way to tell MP to scan for cable channels instead of over the air.

I can go into graphedit, click the tuner properties and tell it to use the second input and cable and watch cable tv in graphedit...if there isn't already hopefully the MP devs will give us a way to make the same choice in MP.

Forgot about this thread in the hardware forum, looks like for now, tuning analog cable on ATSC cards isn't supported.
