For those who read the fuzzy recording thread in the TVE3 section, here are the same changes to TVE2.

I would love to get feedback on this (hopefully) improvement :)

With these patches TVE2 will adjust the recording time automatically for daily/weekly recordings.

And here are the binaries, simply quit MediaPortal and copy these on top of the two assemblies in the MediaPortal directory in Program Files.

These are based on today's source.

    Thanks for the files.

Ralph...if you want, you can edit your tvguide.xml and/or play around with system-time. This makes testing faster :)

I don't really understand how this is different to the current behaviour of "record every time on this channel". doesn't that record the program based on the name? I would think that "record every week at this time" would be purely time based but how is this new fuzzy system different to the "every time" option? It all sounds good but I have had a program automatically record at a totally different time to normal, so it must do some form of checking currently.

    Hi,
regeszter, it should show up with a red one, on which prog it should record.

There are issues when using fuzzy recs with PowerScheduler, but thats with TVE3, haven't tested TV Engine 2 yet, but could be there too.

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi dvdfreak,

    made some tests, now.
    - "record daily at this time"
    - "record mon-fri"

and all shows have been recorded correctly, right now.

    Just noticed an issue:
when entering Timer and select one of these scheduled recording,
the upcoming scheduled shows won't be shown, just MP's waiting circle appears
    and does'nt stop, anymore.
I need to restart MP to get rid of it.

BTW, what timeslot have you enabled in your Plugin?
1 hour around the scheduled start time?

    Regards
    Ralph

there is a show from 6pm to 6:30pm on every days. I have made a scheduled every days recordings from 6pm to 6:30pm. There was not red dot in the guide.

    2nd
