The bug actually still is in the core even though a patch has been submitted long ago (Please see https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/my_music_videos_broken_since_mediaportal_svn-t12994.html).
This patch not only fixes the bug in PlayVideoStream() and hence makes it possible to make full usage of OSD when playing streams, it also implements a new feature which makes it possible to display the correct title when playing a video stream (it requires minor changes to the plugins using this function). gemx has updated his patches today (including the patches for all concerned plugins) to the newest SVN and it would be really good if at least the bugfix part of the patch is committed to the core (even if it is decided that the new feature is not needed).
I have built his patch and I can confirm that it works great!
I think that this would benefit many (almost all) MediaPortal users, so please-please Testers and Developers have a look at it.
