German Pro7 and RTL kill video on comercials (1 Viewer)

Hi,

MP shows a really annoying behaviour on my htpc watching the german Pro7 or RTL channels. When on this channels a commercial break starts, MP stops video or even gets a black video screen!?! Sound and everything else goes on and even MP itself behaves like nothing would have happened. The only thing that helps is to stop tv an start again. When I do that during the commercials I even can watch them but when they stop the same happens as when they start, video stops or gets black and've got to stop and start tv again to watch on.

At first I thought... ok nice no commercials But starting and stopping tv again and again to watch tv is just nervwrecking

I gathered logs and hope someone can take a look at whats going wrong!?

Furthermore I've got to say that I tried different codecs and configs and nothing helped


So now I need some help of a pro

Try different audio and video codecs. For example Cyberlink MPEG2 video codec + ffdshow as audio codec has been tested to be pretty good combination for live tv.

Yep - no issues at all with changing audio/video formats on ProSieben-Sat.1 or any other channel when using this combo.

Ok,

just for the protocol: changed to Cyberlink Mpeg Codec in the TV section and the problem is gone! Now I get commercials again
