i was wondering if its possible to make mediaportal increase media playback volume above the set maximum.

something like vlc does, where any media file can be played with much more volume than mediaportal.

it is really usefull when playing using laptop and no external speakers are available.

its a pain to have to close mediaportal just to play some video with vlc.

just came across this problem again, so i would like to push up this old thread to see if anyone has any idea if this is possible.

just a way of making the volume maximum be higher for those episodes that have very low volume that the laptop cant do enough.

If you use FFDshow audio decoder it can increase the master volume up to 300%

Its on the Volume section on the FFDshow config

Never used it just knew it was there, hope it helps.
