I've been reading the forums here for a couple days and one thing I cannot find is a definitive post on how to get media portal working with a STB and a working guide. I can get the STB to work, but getting the guide is definitely not a labor of love.
I've read on how to get zap2xml to get the tvguide.xml file downloaded and put into the xmltv folder, however, the problem I'm having is that I cannot find out how to get the tvguide.xml information populated to mediaportal. Seems media portal should scan the xmltv folder for a tvguide.xml file and populate that to your tv guide screen, but it doesn't seem to work that way. Any ideas on how to get this done. I've read 2-3 different posts how people have done it, but evidentally they are using older versions of media portal because some of the things they say to do are not present in this latest stable version.
